It has a capacity of 70k people enjoying the matches such as World Cup , IPL, ODI, and also T20. Eden Garden is also famous as " Lords" of subcontinent. One of the most interesting fact is that stadium has a bell to ring in the start of day's play for ODI and T20I matches. History : The beautiful stadium was established in 1864. One of the most interesting fact about this as it  was designed in 1841 named after the Eden sister of Lord Auckland who was the governor general of that time in India.The beautiful stadium is situated in the heart of Kolkata near the B.B.D Bhag area and Hooghly river.

History about Kolkata Kolkata is also known as Calcutta, the capital of West Bengal. It is located near Hooghly River. It's also named as "city of joy". Vidyasagar Setu

Address :  Hooghly River, Munshi Prem Chand Sarani, Kolkata, West Bengal 700021 Vidyasagar Setu is the 2nd Hooghly bridge vin West Bengal that links Kolkata and Howrah. Vidyasagar Setu is the longest cable stayed Bridge in India. The total length of the bridge is 823 meters. It was named after Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar. History : With the increase population and traffic, it is necessitated for a new bridge across the Hooghly river as it connect the two main districts. The foundation stone was laid by Indra Gandhi on 20 May 1972. According to Wikipedia,the bridge was designed by  Schlaich Bergermann & Partner , and checked by Freeman Fox & Partners and Bharat Bhari Udyog Nigam Limited. Construction was carried out by the consortium of  " The Braithwaite Burn and Jessop Construction Company Limited" (BBJ) .
